Sam is currently a Biology major in her senior year. She is part of the Nu class of Spring 2016. She has served on the fundraising and community service committees. After graduation, she plans to take a gap year pursuing her research interests on autoimmune diseases before taking the MCAT and applying for medical schools in or out of the country. Outside of the sorority, she loves volunteering and spending time with animals and children as well as playing piano, singing, or exploring the city. Though she will miss undergrad and all the experiences and friends she’s made, she’s excited to graduate and make a further difference outside of U.I.C. and Chi Sigma Omega. Sam most likely has a dog on her, so if you see her on campus don't hesitate to say hi to Sam and pet her dog!
